What I advocate
Keep our town family friendly
Protect our drinking water
Build a sustainable future
Preserve our neighborhoods
Promote economic development

Safe streets, safe parks and safe buildings are my priority.  We need to pay special attention to the quality of our schools and to the well-being of children.

We depend on fresh water and we should not take it for granted.  In the near future, we will see water shortages on all sides and we need to act now to protect our watershed and our water delivery system.

A sustainable future is one we can afford.  Green practices and common sense conservation practices are appropriate for a town like ours that spends hundreds of millions of dollars each year on energy.  The house on the right is a 100% energy independent house that we sponsored through Watts Radiant.

Neighborhoods are like a garden; they need constant attention.  A lot of things can go wrong in a neighborhood and the support of a local organization and the city can really make a big difference in people’s lives.

Our town needs plenty of thriving businesses.  I know what it takes to build a business from scratch, to make it grow and to manage it through challenging circumstances.  This is an infrared image of a guy working on a truck trailer on a toasty radiant floor.  Everyone needs a radiant floor, but I digress.
